Normal business hours fees

• Non concessional Medicare eligible patients will incur a gap payment of $40 for consultations. This is only a gap payment which is payable on the day of the consultation.  A Medicare claim is then lodged on your behalf and the balance payable to the doctor is sent by Medicare to you by cheque. Please bring this cheque when you receive it to reception or mail it in the Reply Paid envelope.
• We will bulk-bill patients with a Health Care Card (most pensioners, patients on Centrelink benefits, DVA veterans and children under the age of 16).
• All new patients whether concessional or not will incur a gap payment for the first consultation.

After-hours and Weekends Consultations Fees

Patients (whether concessional or not) attending the surgery during the following hours will be privately billed with a gap payment of $60:

Monday to Thursday 5.30 pm - 8:00 pm
Friday: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Please note that individual doctors may change the above fees at their discretion.

• Workers’ Compensation Injuries,
• Third Party Claims, Medical Examinations for the purpose of Life Insurance,
• Commercial Drivers’ Licence,
• Overseas visitors
• Medico-legal Reports.

Skin Cancer Clinic

Patients without a concession card consulting with Dr Mankarios at the Skin Cancer Clinic will incur a gap payment of $60 per consultation.
